Have you noticed her reflection on her window? Its not her right? Her hair is straight af while her hair in th reflection is somehow curly and tied up. I think Shulli’s past life was a manifestation of her an old spirit reincarnation. The church itself tried to kill her becauae maybe they gave something that related to Shulli and the late empress.
