Oh my gosh have u not read any scary fiction ?? I read psychological fiction , I read something a murder like a main character killing ppl. And u gonna tel these characters “uhhhh this is wrongful” no shit it’s wrong. No characters or even authors won’t listen to these comments. They have the power to draw whatever they want wether is rape, murder, manipulation, any psychological mental illness. We all know those are wrong. As long u as a reader can separate fiction from reality. Do u think if my friends had this kind of toxic relationship I am gonna say “oh it’s normal” hell no , I am gonna do whatever I can to help my friends not to be in a toxic relationship. Why bother waste my energy on fictional characters.

I'm AWARE it's fictional, but love is illusion isn't psychological or anything remotely dark, so that doesn't apply. Also you should know to keep the same energy for both fiction and reality. They won't care they can write whatever they want. why should a fiction be close to reality. want to read a fiction that is not close to reality. I think you're just making up excuses. Firstly! I am not shaming you for liking the story because I like it as well and in fact it's one of my favorites. Also just because we CLEARLY cannot control the story nor the author doesn't mean we can't sprout our discomfort for it. It's kind of like how the author can write whatever they want, well we can say (respectfully) whatever we want about the story. If you like reading dark things and a very not so dark story, cool. You do you. But I'm not going to sit here and hold your hands and say how much I care about you like reading dark things. The main comment question was,"is that okay? is that normal for married couple?" and my answer to that is no. be that fiction OR NOT. You tried to dilute this question into a mere thought. NO! it's not normal just because you read a lot of things where they've normalized behavior or any criminal behavior doesn't mean it's normal. Fiction is always going to sprout from reality. So, no.
