I still don’t get the big deal about Lippe’s singing?

So basically in royalty singing a song that sounded like a commoner song was deemed gross and was dirty, not only did her song was in the tune of that of the commoners but the song felt and sounded really sad which may hurt her reputation or sound weird or horrible to royalty
