That wasn't even a proper conversation tho ..
"If you want to go then go" and then Kaneda just leaves abruptly, bruh that's not how you talk things outs?? Why can't the both of you just lay not just your feelings on the table but also the legitimate pros and cons..

Because it’s hard what else do you think

That's easier said then done, getting your feelings out Is never simple, even to the person you love. In this case, it's hard on both ends because they have the same goal but for different reasons. One who want's to get better for his lover, but want's to hear the words "stay", while the other who wants him to stay but also chooses what he assumed was best for him on impulse, since this whole matter happend so fast. Sorry this is my best way to explain atm, to tired to think right now.

Because conversations are hard. Especially when you're Kaneda, he is seriously a mess. He left because he wasn't told what he wanted to hear. Sometimes you cant really get mad at miscommunication because it is so so hard to talk to people especially about feelings.

You all bring up great points and are very plausible honestly.
Didn't mean to come off as griping,I just feel really tired with the ever so common trope that literally all couples have poor communication skills and misunderstandings are common. Gotta remind myself it's just a manga lol
