I think it was more of him expressing his jealousy, Taku has always been transparent with Haesoo so in that moment where he had lost him he still couldn’t bring himself to lie about how he felt about it
That doesn't make it any better. He's a god awful person for saying something like that when he knew better than anyone where Haesoo's heart was rally at from the very beginning, and it just proves he's had ZERO character development. He is such a fucked up person for repeatedly finding happiness in Haesoo's unhappiness and misery bc it meant he'd stay by his side and depend on him. And now where Haesoo finally has a chance of finding that happiness, he's being a selfish toxic immature dickhead who STILL can't stand the thought of Haesoo being happy. I had really hoped the author would give him a shred of human decency at the end of the story, but no.

He was right, he really isn't a good person. Like wtf gives him the right to wish unhappiness on Haesoo when he knew all along Haesoo was in love with someone else and tried to keep him by his side through manipulation?
