I am not entirely sure but based on the context it probably meant he liked it but is not entirely sure or at the point of admitting it yet. (￣∇￣")
Keep in mind the person Soo-Young was with prior so he is probably a bit hesitant in pursuing anyone let alone admitting to someone like Tae-Seung who makes him feel things in ways he probably didn't before in more ways than one.( °⁄ ⁄ ⁄ ⁄ʖ⁄ ⁄ °)
