ok so I think the people she caught a glimpse of are from her past life. In the prologue she says she can give the lady "10 lives" so she has been reincarnated 10 times. And the guy she loves might be the same guy from those lives but idk.

okay somebody's gotta explain to me; I see all these comments saying if you reread the prologue, it makes sense
okay people, I reread and I still don't get it, does 'Him' refer to Mr. Detective, or am I missing something??
