I refer to the fiction using this trope as "Post Regarding Henry" stories, as a lot of paperback authors wrote very similar ones after the movie came out. The plot of this one isn't much different from Boukyaku no Kanata no Rakuen, although the brother in this one is even worse than the other ML's business partners.
The ML dumps and leaves her destitute with a baby. Suggesting she abort the pregnancy and dumped her when he found out she was pregnant.
Meanwhile, he lives the high life with a superficial high society gold digger and attractive arm candy as his new girlfriend. And the FL who is struggling as a single parent in a village is merely a passing thought.
He returns to her life, and her first thought...
