No if you look at his looks, he was going to kill Geenie. Undine came to save her quickly. If that wasn't Undine, Geenie would have been surely killed. In what way is it fair and square when he is 3 years older and a male at that? She was talented enough to put him in a killer mood. The real genius is there for sure.

he was definitely aiming for geenie and the cold look he gave her when he killed undine and she started to cough blood was not one of someone who just wanted to test her abilities... :(
like you said she was strong enough to put him in his hatred/sword aura mood while being ~6 years younger, she is better than him! can’t wait to see a revenge duel! >.<
im sad undine is gone but i mean a duel is a duel THOUGH SHE DIDNT WANT TO DUEL but anyways i guess he won kinda fair and square but she is 10 and he didnt hold back even if it meant killing her spirit though that is kind of such a bad move even for the empire like? if undine wouldnt have been killed and geenie could have grown strong with undine that could also have been a strong asset for the empire i dont really get it
she won all her matches with undine as her summon so what good could result in killing her summon? but yeah whatever
