Btw any ppl knowledgeable about egyptian mythology? I was curious from the very begging about how based on actual mythology this was or is it just a story the author made up? Either way I love it @_@

Well Horus and Seth certainly don't have this type of relationship in the mythology and there is no love between Seth and Osiris either, the rest about the trials that Seth and Horus go through are true and accurate most of the times. The author simply got some extra details to make it more pleasant to read. The sex of some characters is also different in the true myth but that is hardly important. Oh yeah, the way Osiris dies is also a bit different, but the end is the same, where his body is cutted into pieces and thrown at the Nile XD hope it helped!

I knew about the genders and got hella confused at first haha
And hmm interesting! So the trial and his death were a thing! That's awesome that the author didn't just try to make up everything
Thank you so much for the info!!

You mean because Ra is female here? The mythical Ra had both genders, though. It's still possible we may get to see Ra in the male form, after she's done with... something you'll find out in later chapters but, that only *women* can do... so... yep. Ra needs to stay female for that.

Yes Ra did have both genders, but I doubt we will see the male Ra, it could happen! Also Anubis can be both female and male, there are many other deities that can have both forms X3
