personally, I don’t know abt other people but most people I know don’t like her bc of her choices. For context Bairon (one of the six lances) and virion were injured in the fight against the person that killed Sylvia. During that time the person who killed Sylvia belongs to a continent who started a war with dicathen. The Elven Kingdom made a deal with that continent for Tess bc the core art gave her was corrupted - but he didn’t know or else he wouldn’t of given it to her. — when art n Tess talk abt her wanting to go get her parents back bc the people from the continent took her parents, he told her to stay, atleast until virion, bairon n himself were fully healed bc he knew Tess wasn’t nearly powerful to defeat them. (The people who took them were on par to Arthur -but Arthur is stronger bc of his dragon will) She agrees that she’ll stay n they go to sleep. During the night, she wakes up n runs away to get her parents back. I’m pretty sure they were having a public execution of her parents n she stepped in resulting in her getting kidnapped by the people (sorry I have to refer to them as people, idk how to spell the name of the warriors) when Arthur gets there to save her for like the millionth time it’s revealed that someone from his past life is back n in the body of Elijah (Elijah is a vessel, like how Grey is in Arthur Leywin’s body— bc grey didn’t die in his past life—) during the battle the person in his past life reveals that bc some things happened in their past lives he wants to bring someone back n that Tess was going to be the vessel for that person he was going to bring back, that person from his past life n art fight n he gets a form of power from his dragon will. but bc Sylvia’s powers aren’t compatible with his body (sylvia’s type of power can control time I think but in that form of power Arthur is supposed to control a different type of power, not time.) the powers destroy his body n core. during the fight he uses sylvia’s power to open a portal to get Tess n sylvie to leave but Tess stays and tries to help him hurting him even more. When Tess finally goes through the portal sylvie cries for art bc she sees that he starts bleeding from his eyes n ears. Sylvie gives up her physical form (she doesn’t entirely die but she becomes a sort of spirit) to give enough power to art so he can leave. n then in the next chapter he wakes up next to Regis. Regis is what formed into Arthur when sylv gave up her physical form. But when he wakes up, he’s not human. He’s like a half human half asura (an asura is a dragon in human form, think of sylvie which is a dragon but human form) his mana core is broken which means he can’t use mana so he’s not safe.. there are some things that happen that are really important but I think I’ve said enough
