I think for me I’m cringing more that he’s older and someone else hears him say it. Like if he did that alone I’m like okay but someone else is so I’m like feeling second hand embarrassment

I totally get that too. I'm an adult woman...like waaaaaayyyy adult, and I cringe just when my mom refers to my dad as daddy. All of us kids have asked her to stop

I mean I guess it depends? Some people will find it weird, but if your dad doesn’t care how he’s called then your siblings shouldn’t really be shamed about it. I just know if it’s typically a term kept toward children so people perceive it as weird
