I'll reply this in every comment comparing the two.
Look... first of all... this is just ONE ACR of a novel. And the comic from it makes no justice to the novel. It's name is Cannon fodder records of counterattacks. Just in case you want to check it out. But you should really read the novel.
Now... let's talk about the similarities and differences between them ok?
Cmmd and Cfrc are similar in 2 points only: they are quick transmigration (qt) and are not romance (usually qt romance has one guy they meet in every world that don't keep their memory but follows the mc around the many worlds and they end up together) that's it.
That's the only similarities. Now for the differences.
Su Luxia is obviously not a "normal person" from the start, it's clear even on the side story about her 1st mission. Ning Shu is a 27yo who died after spending most of her life in a hospital bed. So... she is not OP at all... if anything she is worse than normal people. No knowledge, no relationship experience, no high stats, nothing. So in the first words she has it real hard and this arc is a challenge arc so she can be considered a normal host instead os a fricking noobie.
NS's system is not helpful AT ALL as you've saw unlike SL's bamboo rat he does nothing for her and actually expected her to not even live enough to get over being a noobie. That's how weak she starts as. No system store, no help finding the targets location, no accompanying her through the worlds. She has almost no help from him at all in almost all the worlds she goes.
Cmmd is about a OP mc abusing scum and bettering that body's life. Cfrc is about a WEAK mc getting stronger TO SURVIVE and completing the body's wishes.
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love cheating men must die. But in regards of character development and world building Cannon fodder wins. Maybe because it's a novel with more than 4k chapters and not only a comic.
The novel is way more slow paced than cmmd... and as I said, besides those 2 points (and getting revenge on others) they are not really similar.
I also know "Quick Transmigration Cannon Fodder’s Record of Counterattacks"!
Are you saying that "I Make Scum Men Cry" is based on that novel? I didn't notice at all!
To be fair there are so many influx of this genre now.
I agree with many of your arguments. But the Ning Shu that I know did a far better job than the version in IMSMC.
There is already a manhua webtoon adaption based on it.

It's better than "I Make Scum Men Cry" but the overall quality of the comic isn't on the same level as CMMD and TMO.
I really like that novel. She was just a very sick hospital patient and against many odds + deities + greek gods + a very traiterous system she slowly became an invincible entity.
Personally I didn't like the gay harem arc with AIDS... That was just overkill and bad...
And there are many complaints that the author make the MC deliberately left alone since she lost companions or friends + family members left her.
Is Ning Shu now truly alone at the end?
So... yep that's the 5th arc of CFRC... the one where the Og keep living her rapey life again and again and none of the other hosts want to do it (one of them failed at it i think) and she has to accept it to be officially recognized as a host or something...
But yeah... none os these 2 comics makes the novel justice...
I also don't like the linking of being gay and having AIDS... But i didn't think it was overkill... she's not rich, not a business or acting genius... so... that was a good way to deal with them without getting caught...
I would like to see her ending with someone... but it also makes sense that she doesn't.
You seriously think that was the (Only) good way to punish them?
By giving them AIDS for being gay even when they are assholes?
Why not instead make the public think that they have HIV positive even though in truth they are not? Being exposed as gay through online leak the majority of dumb people in this conservative world will never trust these guys again and crucify them for good.
Nope. I don't think it was a good way neither that she did that as a punishment for being gay. What I said is that there was no way to prove that it was her doing. After all they were the ridiculously OP male leads kind of guys. But even if they got proof she got that kind of bloof there was no way to prove she infected him.
Besides if she outed them they could just go to other countries. By giving them a std she destroyed their relationship. All of them got it so there was no way to judge who infected who so there was also the seed of distrust.
Honestly... remember what she did with that one guy? Obesity, wasted legs, and making him dependable on others to live? Ning Shu can be pretty savage in dealing with scum... So she using a std is not surprising.
I don't like the association of Aids with being gay. It's a horrible prejudice that was fairly common in the 90's and I'm glad it lessened. But I feel she would do the same if it was a hetero harem in the same situation. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
It did irk me but I did understand her use of it...
Good point.
I still really wish the gay harem arc wouldn't exist.
Trope: BURY YOUR GAY + many gay/lgbt movies before 2010s ends with death by suicide, deadly accident, murder or Aids.
Yes, I understand her savage methods but that storyline was just truly insensitive.
Other annoying terrible STDs as punishment yes but please not AIDS.
Because in history AIDS has been always associated with queer people and many (white) heteronormative christian assholes took it as a perfect excuse to further shaming blaming them for anything + dehumanize/marginalize this community/minorities.

It is very inferior than CHEATING MEN MUST DIE or TAKE ME OUT
