She has no rank or title to really mess up their lives, but the mommy issues and hatred for the FL who resembles her are absolutely on-brand.

I have noticed the same, the audience quite easily forgives male character that were beyond evil towards FL in their previous lives but are not as easily willing to forgive female characters for the very same thing or even less than that.
I can think without that much effort five male character from very popular manhwas right now.

I think the worst that those male characters often end having happy lives with FL.

But people are pissed off about the MLs from "The Abandoned Empress" and "Your Majesty, Please don't kill me again".

Me same, I think those were good stories, nice character designs and a good FL buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut, seriously I can't take that type of ML.

I love a good redemption arc as anyone else, but not when ML actively abused FL for no good reason, going as far as to rape her, for him to end up with her in the current life, or idk, killing her entire family just cause, I had so much hope for "The abandoned empress" or "Lady to queen".

I can only forgive a certain amount of shitty behavior as redeemable.
