Ok, I just have one small nitpick about this story that'll probably just seem like a petty, minor thing to focus on, but by the time Tasuna had been assaulted by Himushi and his men, he'd already been a goldsmith for at least 6 years, part of which involved living in the mountains, which is no simple task by itself. Blacksmithing, especially goldsmithing, being a very heavy metal, is NOT an easy task, and requires immense physical strength, stamina, and endurance, not to mention mental aptitudes. There's no way in HELL that Tasuna, having been working for 6 years under those conditions, would ever have such a hard time just lifting a simple short sword. He has to pick up and haul around metals weighing ten times what that sword would have weighed everyday as part of his craft. So, how....?
Again, sorry for the rant. I know it's such a small part of the story that holds absolutely no relevance or bearing to the overall telling. It just weirded me out. It neither takes nor gives anything to the story, which is absolutely wonderful. Just voicing my own opinions.
