Yeah...u have to re read the first few chapters... those are the present version of the manhua and all of the rest are about the past including the reason for separating with each other... the first few chapters are about after the separation where zhang xi xi is is a university student while jiang yi is still a high scl kid I think it's bcz of the disappearance that jiang yi had to still be in high scl... guess it's going to be helpful to u ...☹
