i hate that his apologies was part blaming her. He he blamed her for being young am mature thats why he said those things, and he did it to protect her.... guilt tripping much...
I have also come to the conclusion that the ML is a complete phony. According to page 7, he is ”The richest entrepreneur in all of Spain” and “The king of Spain’s venture capital.” This from a man who lives in New York, has a villa in the French West Indies, and bears a name as Irish as Paddy’s pig. He might as well be named Nguyen von Schlichten and claim to be an Inuit chieftain.

1. He planned on having sex with her, for the sole purpose, supposedly, of "getting over her."
2. He used her affection for his daughter on two occasions. First, when she turned him down for dinner, and secondly, when she didn't want to go on vacation with him.
Both of these actions are not something that anyone even pretending to the title of Gentleman would do. They are both scummy, manipulative, and display an entire lack of the quality called empathy. Bottom Line: He was a douche bag.
