I agree. I think he is hurt because rather than addressing his feelings, its his sexuality that is being questioned. Zhen's question implies that he doubts that Jianyi likes him for being Zhen, and instead believes that Jianyi likes him only because Zhen is a man.

But I think Jianyi is crying because no, he isn't gay (well maybe idk but he really acts like the straightest guy in response to the black-haired guy's advances) in the beginning, but he fatally fell for Zhen, you know, childhood friend, from affection to love etc. But Zhen seems to deny it even though it's obvious, asking "do you like men" when Jianyi never showed so much affection towards any other guy or even girl than to him, so it hurts Jianyi because it seems that the feelings he held only for Zhen never reached him and that he's trying to avoid them or simply didn't understand them. Jianyi must be feeling very lonely and hopeless and ridicuous right now and I want to hug him┗( T﹏T )┛
