like in the case of this manga, it would be weird and i would agree with people hating on the incest part IF they grew up together and all but it's not. they were literally separated and became strangers so

In all seriousness, I don't like incest but the plot for this at least kinda makes sense? Like some other few ones with divorce/separation. They were attached in the beginning, then separated for years. At that point it's hard to see someone as a relative I suppose. Like I have cousins I haven't seen in years and they feel like strangers. I've never personally sweet-home-alabama'd anyone but that may have to do with possibility of developing romantic/sexual attraction. So it's not out-of-nowhere, even if it's ugh irl
