not to justify the previous empress actions, cause it was cruel and i also dislike her, period.
but, we cant really say anything about the "mistress". As much as i hate polygamy, it was a necessary act for the emperor, whose duty is to make sure the kingdom has an heir, and a common thing in the past.
i also couldn't stomach it before, but its an usual occurence for plots like this., and i like plots like these

I dont think you can really blame mistresses unless they're like Rosemund because even if they're kind and don't wanna marry someone else's husband, its not like they can say no to the emperor. I mean I wouldn't want to get on his bad side too

I do not like the previous empress and her cruelty, HOWEVER.... i dislike the mistress and the empror who cheat. I hate this two timing. Like...you know...i know that it was cruel to kill the mother with the kids hand and do horrible actions twoards a boy who did nothing...but i hate this mistresses stuff.
