Just because of the reasons it’s justified? The fathers suppose to be smart but instead drugs his daughter and makes her stay on an island with a stranger who might have harmed her? They were lucky the guy didn’t turn out to be a nasty rapist or abuser.
Obviously the parents are far from normal but well at least their reasons were somewhat pure... I guess (〜￣△￣)〜
