I agree to an extent. I too like the "friends to lovers" trope, but constantly shipping them just because they were friends for a long time is still meh. I find it sad that guys cannot be sentimental with each others because they are immediately shipped together. (This is also why irl guys fear being touchy Feely with their friends and it is super toxic). Just if it's not BL and two guys are friends, let them be. They are precious that way

Yes! I just don't want ppl attacking other ppl that ship the non-canon couples with baseless assumptions that they're "fetishizing" mlm and wlw, because maybe their reasoning is more on the dynamic like myself, but not because it's mlm or wlw. I just want to clarify on it, but yes! Platonic relationships exist and that's okay! I read tons of genres and I definitely lean on platonic friendships on some! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Listen here people, there's no problem with shipping. May it be straight or gay.
UNLESS your damn reason for shipping gay couples is because one looks "feminine" and the other gives off "masculine" energy. You know, the stereotypical uke and seme shit.
BUT if you ship gay couples with the idea of, "It makes sense because they've been together and had each other's backs so they have an established relationship that has great potential for more." Then that's completely understandable, you're shipping based on compatibility and sense instead of, "because uke and seme vibes "
I ship the two guys and the two girls because right now, they have a good dynamic of friendship and they go way back. You know, with Nari approaching Haesol, and then the other guy knowing how the ml reacts to certain situations (I forgot the names). It's more of like my appreciation for the childhood best friends trope. If the situations were reversed, Let's say Haesol approaching the ml or the ml approaching the fl, then I'd totally ship them because of the friendship dyanmic they'll have, not because the ml looks like a feminine person that'll go well with the masuline best friend (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
