I feel same also. Somehow I always thought Ryou was Akizuki Maho's son with another man rather than Konomi.
There I realized it was just me wanting Konomi and Ryou not related. Don't know where it hurts, but it hurts... T^T
Not bad kinda like it but I think it's just you wanting a plot twist lol, Ryou definitely is not reincarnated, Ryou is the same person, there is not past life in this story, just someone who traveled to the past then return back to the present
Why do I feel like I understand it as the ryou who went back was not actually the ryou of the present but him in his past life. That he got reincarnated as son ryou, and the time slip thing was to kind of like seeing the connection of his past life and the man who he calls father, and there starts the complicated relationship of a father and son....
Or maybe it's just me wanting a plot twist that they're really not related
