I study Professional Etiquette and Customer Service. The first thing they taught us is to NEVER engage office romance especially with your superiors. Office romance is a clusterfuck (to put it very vaguely) if you try it out. It will be an UTTER MESS if you are flirting/dating with someone with higher position than you. So, office romance is quite romanticized and it's not actually very exciting. Sorry if this burst your bubble! I am just saying. Maybe it will differ to each people but this is what I was taught.

Not in an office but I worked in a place where one of the ordinary staff was sleeping with one of the higher ups. We all knew though they tried so hard to keep it secret. Eventually they broke up. Both of them tried to stay working in the same place but it got so tense between them that it started to impact everyone else so the woman (the ordinary staff) had to leave.

Also knew a guy who was dating one of the girls in the same job as him. They made it so they could have matching shifts and they also practically lived together. It was working until the guy cheated with another girl at the same place they worked. It was chaos when it all came out.

Moral is don’t date someone who you work with. If it goes bad it’s no fun for anyone.

Not that I'd find a job so soon, even if I did that there'll be someone out there who'll meet my ultra high standards(blame 2D characters for this one)( ̄∇ ̄")

You're right , I knew more or less how messy office romances end up as but I just wanted to know whether they felt really really happy in the beginning phases of their relationship --when they went to work , did everyday boring work became exciting to them or stuff like that( ̄∇ ̄")
