but uhhh explain how joowon manipulated haesoo, cause i really dont think it happened. joowon may have been arrogant, cowardly and immature: which he fully develops and fixes, but he didnt manipulate haesoo cause he always genuinely loved him and wanted to protect their relationship. haesoo instead is the one that admits to emotionally manipulating joowon. aka read the monologue about haesoo craving an obsessive love and building up walls just so joowon can tear them down (meaning he tries to make joowon possessive and jealous on purpose)
my inner haesoo anti is gonna jump right out with this comment lol. just saying: haesoo hurt joowon a lot over the course of this story. joowon just kept giving to haesoo and asked for nothing in return, especially everything starting from chapter 57 (their breakup) and onwards.
so let's not say "joowon didn't deserve haesoo". they BOTH made mistakes and hurt each other, but joowon seemed to do everything with more or less good intention, though he did have moments of selfishness. he at least wasn't out here wishing the other would be set back in his career, or wishing the other would suffer. that was actually haesoo. and jw also didn't manipulate haesoo! that was haesoo too! haesoo deserves to be happy and I am GLAD he is happy especially considering his growth through this series-- but lets just not forget the uke can be just as toxic as the semes :)))
