It's one of the raging trends in Chinese online amateur novels, nowadays. If it's not second chance (suddenly being back in your younger self's body in the past) or transmigration (being reborn as a story's pre-existing character) then it's ending up transported to a beastkin world (humanoid beasts) or to a zombie apocalypse.

I know, right? The super elaborate cultivation world that takes a while to get the hang of (the Immortal Mountain glossary's become my new best friend) and lots and lots of future interestellar, all with interplanetary Internet! And world-hopping! And also second chance type two, with the protagonists dying and waking up not as their younger selves but in the body of someone who just died as well (but I don't really like that latter one).

Lol the Cultivation one sometimes make my brain go spinning, They love to give lots lots of information on one chapter.
Ah, the second chance one usually a master of something (like Movie emperor or smth) get reincarnated into some dead person who is the loser of the family and then show them How Amazing he/she is. They do this like alot on chinese novel. I do kinda like that trope tho (depends how the writer make the trope good)
this is lowkey like some game? idk
