I don't think the authorities would believe her they might think she a crazy person and when the incident happens they gonna suspect her of being apart of the terrorist group

I think that she thought that after saving him, everything would be alright, I guess she couldn't have known that for saving a life another one needs to be sacrificed.
She could have gone to the authorities and saved a bunch of people but she'll also get experimented on like some alien...
