I think it’s far more probable that he got some kind of soccer mom, except with theatre instead of soccer.
i mean if that was the case then there wouldn't be any confusion as to whether it was him or not, and he would have just been honest when he said that he didn't go the same elementary/middle school.
yeah it's a common trope in a lot of comics. some very well written though.
I'm assuming this has to do with the reason he's homeless and the rumors that he ran away from home. Either this is him, and his mother made him dress as a girl, or it's a possible sibling who got more attention than him.
If his mother did make him dress as a girl, that would probably be because of the usual "my mom always wanted a girl so she forced me to live like one," or maybe it was the dad.
Perhaps the reason he has so little clothing is because he only had female clothing when he ran away from home to live on his own.
