i know that some of you guys are going to get mad at me for saying this, but chen yu deserves so much better.
zhen bei should know that chen yu loves him so much and that he would do NOTHING to betray him. he would even go against the emperor to prove his love for him. this man is so stupid. he has the audacity to say that he doesn't like chen yu because he slept with the emperor, yet he's the one sleeping around with other men when he said that he loved chen yu dearly.
these are clearly red flags. chen yu should just run away and never turn back. i don't get why after all these chapters that zhen bei still thinks that he slept with the emperor and why chen yu hasn't broken off all ties with each other.
i know that some of you readers are on zhen bei's side saying stuff like, "oh but chen yu should have protected himself and explained himself better." NO! zhen bei ignores him and doesn't let him explain the situation. like in the recent chapters, he basically just threw away his love. he's MUTE. he's been through trauma that made him mute. the fact that he's at that point where he's soon to be talking again, just says something... zhen bei did a lot of things that chen yu is at the point where he wants to yell out all of his emotions.
chen yu is a soft and caring person. you can clearly see that. he's naïve and stubborn. i just want him to snap at this point and run away and to NEVER EVER turn back. i wish him better happiness than staying as a concubine who'll never be looked at by the prince again.
as for the zhen bei, fuck you. you should know that chen yu loves you so much that he's WILLING to get hurt to try to explain his emotions. you're such a fucking asshole.
