I read somewhere... or was it in the manhua... that Jian Yi disappeared the second day of high school... for two years or something and then Zhen xi graduated without him... so what you are saying doesnt make sense to me... please enlighten me

the chronology you have read it's correct and we are currently (chapter 140) between "Jian Yi sneaks his way back into his heart. Zhan Zhengxi opens up." and "They become close best friends again." Jian Yi's birthday took place just a few days before the latest chapter.
