This chapter is the kind I appreciate really much. The flow is one of the best for what was expected.
Nakyum is more explicit with his feelings and it is really sad. He didn't begin to like Seungho out of nowhere. As he never experienced any kind of love, he was drawn by Seungho's weaknesses and "gentleness" even if he is afraid of him. Nakyum's fondness for In-hun depicted by Heena was naive, pure and completely disinterested. This one shifted for Seungho to be carnal, brute and unhealthy. Even if he knows that there something hurting him, he doesn't like what makes him attracted by Seungho. His tears right now are the saddest one I've seen. It's not about being hurt by Seungho, it's about thinking of him in a brighter light. The author has found the best way to depict Stockholm syndrome for Nakyum. I think that's the first time I've read it like that. It's not forced or something "in-your-face", it hurts and is bittersweet.
Heena was the first MVP of this chapter. With little information she knows she clearly stated what the relationship of the mains could be. Even if she doesn't know what is In-hun's true nature, she clearly hit the mark and drove Nakyum to ask himself the logical questions.
Kim was the second MVP, and I suppose he had room to act now because the jig is out. Afraid of Seungho, he still feels pity. He is the one knowing Seungho the best (like Heena knows Nakyum and that was a masterful perspective btw, author). He knows the true Seungho is somewhere, maybe he hoped Nakyum presence would have brought him back but the Lord is really going further from his redeeming qualities and now he is the striking image of his father and Nakyum is him.
And dear Seungho, as I like so much that my bad characters go on a punishment path, I can't help but feel sorry for you. In a matter of one chapter he had one punch in the guts by Kim when he compared him with his father, one coup de grâce when eavesdropping Heena trying to convince the painter that he was a bad choice. I hope this time it is the plot point that will make him change.
I think many people like to talk about the Stockholm syndrome because they tend too much to empathize with the victim but the Lima syndrome is also something that exist. As we are still a bit far from it because of Seungho's mindset, there are many circumstances when Seungho was caring. The main characters are meant to mend each other's wounds from now on. That will not be easy, but it seems the author wants to go for that.
Damn, this gotta be the most analytical comment i've read. I tend to not take comics ( it's manhwa, yes) seriously so it's mind-blowing to see people actually diggin in so much deeper. Love this a lot

I like what you wrote here and I really hope for Seungho to turn this around. Even then, there’s a lot of forgiving that needs to be asked from Nakyum after all the abuse he went through

Thank you. I tend to invest so much time in analysing any form of book when I like it. Although this season was a lackluster for me, it would have been really hypocr

Really? Comics and graphic novels were always made to be a critique on different aspects of society. At least western comics are. I can't speak much for eastern comics though.

Thank you! I think that Seungho's apology would be an atypical one. He is a child like Nakyum when it comes to express his feelings. Unless he learns how to properly apologize, that would be done his way.
