Yeh yeh, there were times my parents had to hold onto my hands so that i could stop moving and try to relax (like grip my hands from moving away). It can be forceful and doesn't always work, but i will admit it did calm me down (sometimes) and prevented me from hurting myself and or others.
Yeah, it kind of snaps you from your rage nd focuses your attention towards your hands.

I think he is just trying to restraint him to calm down not fuck him. I've done that to my friend before, it's just restraining them so they don't hurt you or themselves not to fuck them
