Since I can’t read the raws I think he either had another role or either didn’t have any and got the role of the missing person offered.
assuming isn't gonna harm anyone- if he isn't trans (which he isn't) then that's cool too. it's not like trans people wanting representation is damaging to you is it? is being trans so weird that it's bad to assume he's trans after parts of him being called feminine, being mistaken as a girl, and dressing up as a girl? this webtoon goes over many problems and troubles, but god forbid them go over the hardships of being trans right? it would be a different story if people just assumed he was trans out of the blue

Assuming isn’t necessarily bad, I just don’t like the « oh he put on a dress as a kid = trans » considering that you don’t need to be trans to wear a dress as a man. Also I’m sure nobody meant harm and are nice and genuinely wanted representation, I just think it’s wrong to assume someone’s gender because of their appearance, sorry If I sounded transphobic, I still would’ve loved Eunyung even if he was trans.
no no you dont sound transphobic but its more like ppl thought it was foreshadowing of him being trans bc it wouldnt be unlikely for a webtoon like this to go over that topic yk? without reading the raws, thats one of the assumptions people would make, along with him being forced to wear that kinda stuff as a kid, and other things.
and being trans nowadays is just as, or even more common than parents dressing their lil boys as girls so it would've been an equally possible situation
