And the only reason its high rating is becuz the people who don't like it aren't rating it becuz of the subscribing thing. For those who don't know, you can rate it and under that is a check off square where you can choose to subscribe. Just check it off. Just learned that right now becuz I never had to do this before. （￣へ￣）
Subscription is only to get notifications whenever there's a new chapter uploaded if it's ongoing. Believe it or not, I see a lot of high ratings for works even though they're purely smut and have no plot because a lot of people like that kind of stuff.
So I believe that there's a lot of people who actually like this type of toxic manga, People also tend to be more vocal about something they don't like than something that they do like. So a lot of negative comments doesn't mean that majority disliked the book. Sadly enough, the rating doesn't paint all the picture. I've read books that have mediocre rating that I deem good and vice versa.
I for one couldn't stand this type of relationship even I know its just fiction. But there are people are fine with this as long as it doesn’t happen in real life, pretty much how like rape scenes in mangas are glossed over, or even plays a part in fantasy.
.... Story is stupid what else can I say? Honestly, the relationship is way too toxic. The uke just forgets that the only reason the people got information on him was becuz the seme leaked it and even beat up an innocent person while leaking it. Too fucking toxic. I did come in here knowing the seme was a yandere but didn't think the uke would be so stupid. Id give it a 0/5 if I could. Thought maybe yandere love stories would be better now (the last one I read was years ago), but nothings changed.
