he was just having a hard time processing/taking it all in ;v; although it wasn't cool of him to avoid section chief, he was also worried about how to address/word it and was worried about how to face him and tell him without fcking things up. (which he kind of did. But now they're good LOL) i understand why you may be annoyed at seunghyun but seunghyun didn't expect anything BACK from the section chief he just wanted to understand his own emotions and also relay them to his new partner
I also think Section Chief overreacted, I.e. thinks he said about Seunghyun's pure love, etc., and Seunghyun was more upset about that than conveying that he loved Yoosung. Section chief's existence for a moment wasn't as the person who Seunghyun likes but as the person who was the reason that he couldn't confess his love to the person he loved in the past. It's jarring.
Section chief is very jaded so he quite easily put down Seunghyun's confusion which is why it led to an argument so it's great he was able to realise that he really really likes Seunghyun and apologised to him. They both now understand they're together because of the present and not the past.
!!! i agree so much ! people are so annoyed at seunghyun but i was honestly really upset with section chief for reacting that way :/ he immediately put him down- but i'm glad they talked it all out now :)
