I think he wanted shulli for himself, so i think his way of thinking is like 'if i cant have her, then no one will' so he(and the church) killed her, basically he was a yandere towards shulli? Idk
But she was a widow he could have her!
Why?
I don't think Shulli would accept his love because zhe would prioritize the kids over a lover and also the kids wouldn't let her marry someone else.
So I’m talking about before the time return, their relationship wasn’t that good, so I think if he stepped in to help her at first things would’ve turned much better!
