I'm not entirely sure what relationship the blonde old man's sis had with the emperor. I believe she was the Empress? So basically he got mad and locked black haired lady, ML mom and sister in the tower. I know it had something to do with his sister. ML mom took the daughter and jumped from the top of the tower. The ML saw them do this and ~trauma~. He decided on revenge against the old man. NOW old man is having his nephew? ML brother? (Someone correct me) kill the ML before he kills him. Apparently the two decided that one of them should die in order to end the whole anger. FL doesnt want this because she knows it wont satisfy him and would just cause more anger within the ML. She also doesnt want anyone to get hurt. DISCLAIMER: SOMEONE CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG
