Short answer would be that Guren killed Mika and he became a demon king. Now they are trying to make him into a cursed weapon and give him to Yuu. Long answer would be I have no idea on whose side they should be and I feel like both are bad for Mika and he will be used either way...
Kinda yeah and kinda no. He became a demon so he is not dead, but the demon doesn't have his memories or personality so its not exactly Mika.
