Ikr. I’m just a reader and I could tell how suffocating it is bu being around Astaroth and being told that his life is on the line all the time. He was just a normal teenager before any of this happened. I don’t get why some ppl here are hating on MC...
I guess people are so used to MC's accepting it and turning badass in minutes. This is more of a realistic reaction a highschooler should have let alone a person in general.
Poor guy, it must be so overwhelming for him that his emotions got the best of him. I don't think people realize just how lonely and frightening it is to be in some unknown place far away from your family and then for him to suddenly have to play this big role of a demon king :/ that must be really stressful.
