Where I live if you make a wish on a really cheap bracelet (like bracelets made of cloth) and it breaks without ever touching it this is how it will grant your wish. I did it a lot of times and sometimes it lasted years without braking until it broke on its own, that's how it works but it seems that in this case is the opposite?)
