Is this a good read? Lile is the ml cool or is the fl dumb?

Its a good read, the love plot is kind of messy, but its wholesome, sometimes angsty, and overal a good one in my oppinion. It also has another book, which is the happenings previous to this. So I reccomend reading that since it explains a lot of things, but this also has flashbacks, so it kind of tells waht you need to know without reading the previous work, but that one is also good, so I recommend reading that first. Kyoukoku no Recuerdo is the previous ones title. It focuses on the mc and his friend.
