No gunna lie the original body's owner was basically a psychopath, as a kid forced her brother to be a slave and kill his own mother. And her mum knew that her kid was not gunna be good news so she did what she did and neglect her. When she saw the mc now in the body she felt bad cuz the future she sees is different. The mother here isn’t unreasonable or all that unlikable compared to many different parental figures I’ve read about before.

Yh she doesn’t seem like a bad person and she'll probably be better in the future but honestly I literally just don’t really care about her, I don’t hate her probably cuz the original Pryde I hated, my dislike towards Original Pryde grew due to the fact the brother is one of my favs. Like u can like her psycho ass I don’t really care I mean it’s to each their own type of thing, I’ve liked asshole characters before but that’s either cuz they're entertaining as shit or complex in the overall story.
I just wish if this story is gonna end I want the FL's Step mother/queen to disapear or die, she's too stupid and her reason for changing the future of the FL is stupid, idk about the step mothers daughter though the "heroine"
