Well, his feeling is not out of no where. He totally fell in love with her at the Kings birthday. The king Che's father already notice but didn't say anything.
I don't like the art in the manga so i started reading the light novel instead. It got lot more detail there then in the manga.

I'm really trying to give the new art a chance. I just can't seem to like it. Also, Du Gu Ye's feelings for Liu Yue were totally out of nowhere. We really could have done without it. But I'll keep reading to see if something better happens.
