Well she was forced to be turned into a tool to be passed down and used by the people that she hates while being unable to die for many years so imo its understandable that shes gonna prioritize her revenge first over people that have died centuries ago(in her past life) and she did say that at the competition that she doesnt hate his former fiancé but her accumulating hatred is far too great for him to disrupt her plans. (This is just my opinion tho so feel free to disagree)

well to be fair, it was justified why she didn't want kahu to be involved with her anymore coz
1. she said nobles marry only to tie families together (political reasons)
2. she didn't know kahu had feelings for her judging by the way she questioned him tryna find her (in her monologue) after she was turned into a sword in the past.
3. her revenge plan doesn't involve kahu, so liz not bringing kahu into this revenge plot is probably for his own good. coz it might get dangerous for kahu.
But, i did not said to be kind out of knowing his love or smth. I know about the 1st your reason, still it does not mean she did not know abt how he treated her with kindness, even herself said that if she did not become a sword she could have peacefully lived with him as a married couple. And it is not abt your 2 reason, bc respect and some kind of kindness do not necessarily involve love. Abt your 3rd reason, if she at least told him that " sorry, even though i brought back the first foremost i would like to focus on my aim. However, thank you for trying to find me" smth in thise lines. It is not like here she would share any of her plans, and she would also reassure him without much hurting his feelings and so on. Kahu isn't completely aware that they went back in time and shit. If she said thank you to him for trying to find her then that would solidify his suspicions that something really did happen and our mc is trying to change the future now. Many questions would come up which could only bring more trouble. And seriously our mc is planning on completely destroying an empire. She doesn't have time to play nice and others knowing about it could ruin her plans.

I kinda wanted to agree with what u said in the beginning, maybe he really did not realise he is back in time, even though he said " u are alive" and when she said "u thought i disappeared", which give us a hint that he actually realised he is back and that girl too after this question. He is not totally confused, he know he is back, he just does not know why everything in his memories involves her presence.
She doesn't have to show kindness if she doesn't want to. She's canonically a very neutral person. If it doesn't benefit her/her revenge, she won't really bother with it--that's sort of the person she's become after unwillingly killing people for 4 centuries.
In any other situation, I don't think she would've snapped like she did here (maybe shown the respectful distance/fake niceness she does with everyone else) But she acted very defensively because her ex was the first to notice that the time line isn't right, that she wasn't meant to be here, alluding to her life as a sword which triggered her.

and just to be fair, the translations are abit wonky. parody scans have always been a teeny little inaccurate with translations so there might be smtg lost in translation here as well (and i meant page 9&10). and the original may not have been as rude as you said it to be coz honestly, even the translated ver of this manhwa, i don't really think tht what she said was rude when she is a single noble lady who does not wishes to have any scandal while being the prince's tutor. just saying tho.
