But looking back at the Manga, it was never implied that Enji ever hit Touya, he only told him he couldn't train him anymore because his own flames were hurting him and Touya took it very, how do say, personal..
ohh, i forgot about that part of the manga. now it does make a lot of sense why he said that he can't hurt dabi but at the same time it kinda doesn't since enji still hurted dabi a shit ton through his abuse towards him.
okay nvm i reread the chapters and i finally understand, dabi was fucking himself up and so endeavour tried to stop him but ended up adding more fuel to the fire instead and that's what made dabi go batshit crazy
