This is crazy to me, dude instead of complaining abt his friend to someone else, behind his back, could have confronted him and communicated, but nooooo, and then he blames Miura?? I’m not saying Miura was very tactful but this whole thing originally wasn’t his issue, and he became the outcast...anyway lol that pissed me off

nah I thing miura was definitely in the wrong for that one, did he deserve to become an outcast? no but he share someone else's personal thoughts to another friend. Thats messed up, and by middle school he should know that. I could understand if he just asked the pushy dude to stop being so pushy, but to say all he did, it wasn't right.

I don't think you even read the story. He said that he was really used to being raised in a family and surrounding where people were very open about their thoughts, his mom for example. Only then when he entered middle school he learned that not everyone is genuine and open about their thoughts. He didn't know that thing would lead to his friends having a quarrel, because he had always thought that openness to everyone was what's right. This was his first harsh lesson about life that everyone is fake and has double face. Sure from this he learns that what he did was wrong, but at the same time also traumatic, especially him being the outcast in the end (which is really shitty, seriously what the hell)

The dude is a literal mind reader and it took him till his third year of middle school to realize he shouldn't openly share other people's inner thoughts?? that seems like too much of a reach for me. He should have figured that out in week one of middle school.

I definitely agree he should’ve been more tactful about how he said what he said. Like maybe a “hey since ___ likes to stick to cerfew let’s to not pressure him, ya?” and just like leave it at that. However saying that he shouldve known better? We learn from being taught or personal experience. It’s not like someone gave him a crash course on the Do’s and Donts of mind reading & Up until that point, using the knowledge he got from reading minds had only done good. He had never been in a situation where it backfired, so how was he supposed to know?
