Well i assure you that rape is NOT normal,saying that yaoi promotes rape its like saying body positivity promotes obesity, I dont know if you get what am trying to say, I get it you are uncomfortable with it in a story, but it's still fiction, when you read a story you need to understand that it doesnt follow your moral it plays with it if it a story based on real life stuff, but I assure you omegaverse uses morals diffrents from yours( am talking about classical omegaverse stories not the special ones) and if you are interested I can even take every story with every character in it and explain every motive every action that takes place, wheras its normal or not and why it was necessary to put it there.
when you read a story you are a witness the story doesnt include you as you. You are the outsider in the story, it doesnt evolve around you, listen irl I would litteraly fight against rape, but these are stories if I write a story about a character in a toxic relationship and that character is happy within that relationship, even if you hate it, you cant say anything it's my character either you enjoy the story as a story or you dont but that doesnt give the right to complain
