And then I get 3 chapters in and find the Boss to be a total prick for making the MC WORK FOR HIS MEDICINE that restores his mana...by having him utilize his mana. The poor MC is stuck in slave labor and is too dumb to realize he'll never be getting home at that rate. (╥﹏╥)
So, I lied...this manga was shit. Don't misunderstand, the art is beautiful. The art alone would be worth reading for and the characters aren't all bad...but the ones that are...
Well, 1st, the story is inconsistent. We are introduced to Mujin meeting Eunil and having to run away after losing his necklace and turning into his true demon form...but then 20ch in, suddenly because the necklace is cracked, he can't turn back? TRIX TAKE OFF THE NECKLACE THEN! The necklace was specifically said to be a charm filled with mana to keep him in human form so long as he wears it but then that all goes out the window as the plot demands. 2nd, there are points when characters seem to teleport. One minute they will be outside listening in on a conversation behind a door and the next, the door is a pillar and the character would be either to the left or right of where he was before. This throws off my flow but I can overlook. Finally, we get to the characters. As above may have clued you in--I hate the Boss. He's annoying and serves only to push the plot without any real motive to do so. His nephew I like but his nephew is LITERALLY INTRODUCED as coming from the Demon World for a time but earlier in the story Mujin was wearing a disguise because he didn't want people freaking out that he was a Demon. The story is all over the place with Eunil...he's an ass like 9/10 other manga seme's but he's stupid as hell in that he overlooks everything the way he does. Again though, seeing as how he was told point blank that Boss' nephew was a Demon and couldn't put anything together with that info--it most likely has to do with the creator having the characters overlook their plot holes. I give it 2/5 as it is the first Shonen-Ai that I've been this disappointed in.

PLEASE STOP LEAVING YOUR POWERFUL/RARE/VALUABLE ITEMS ATTCHED TO A GODDAMN STRING NECKLACE! If you have an item that keeps you stable...maybe put that sh!t on something OTHER than a flimsy piece of string. Does no one in the East wear chain necklaces lol. Maybe if you put half the amount of efforts into your necklace as your 23 belts/zippers you wouldn't keep losing your stuff. ( -_-) Sorry, just a rant after seeing this happen for the umpteenth time. I actually think I'm really gonna like this manga based on the plot but ch1 triggered me.
