I had the impression that she didn't really want to change the plot beyond her survival.
If that's the case, it makes sense she'd try to remove her interference after she's down for survival.
Could be wrong though.
Its always bothered me with how leads can be. It's like stupidity becomes the leading factor for them. The novel has already changed so much and she has already embedded herself with the ml. I get that she may fear being a sacrifice or fodder for the ml and fl, but it's like she wont even wait around ir fucking communicate..its like no communication happens. Just annoyed with the thinking...
