I mean I think he said it without thinking and didn't understand the pretense of what he said but Vivian took it in the worse way possible. So uh I'd say they're both in the wrong since she was saying some messed up stuff too
But like wasn't it a 2-way fight in the novel compared to the webtoon I'm pretty sure the duke said some hurtful shit like exhibit a: "if you were pregnant it wouldn't be my child" which then caused both of them to continue to throw some hurtful words in the argument then the duke left and that's when and why I dropped it readin that shit hurt like a bitch so like why in the webtoon did it make Vivian the only one to be mean?
